I couldn’t think of a better way to start off the new section of our website than with gratitude. Thank you, to all of you – this wonderful yoga community – for inspiring us (The Bend Team) to get up every morning and share our love for this practice with you. Thank you for sharing your lives. Thank you for trusting us with your deepest desires and goals for the future. Thank you for allowing us to see glimpses into what it means to walk in your shoes. Thank you so much for the support you show to the other people within our community during times of struggle and celebration. I cannot thank you all enough for the support I have felt over the years, through the changes and growth. My heart feels full daily – because I get to come to work and see all of your smiling faces.
Ask most yogis and they will admit that meditation is one of the hardest parts of the yoga practice. Sitting still with the “monkey mind” is not easy. One of the easiest ways to start to incorporate a meditation practice into our lives is with gratitude. It also helps us shift from what our minds are possibly worrying about to filling our hearts with what we should be so thankful for. The best part – it’s so easy… watch!! You just fill in the blank… over and over again:
