Some might even call this a “traditional hatha yoga” class.  Here we will flow from asana to asana (pose to pose) and take our time to explore while in each shape.  We live in a fast paced world where we feel the need to move quickly from place to place and get things done.  This class will challenge your wandering mind that wants to get there already and ask you to notice what happens when we don’t give in.  Here we will ask you to just be.  The poses selected may have some difficulty to them, but we ask that you don’t push yourself too far and move at your own pace, or even rest when you need.

This class is great for anyone who:
  • enjoys a bit of a challenge in their yoga practice
  • wants a mix slow movements and long holds
  • likes a variety of poses
  • likes a traditional style of hatha yoga class
